Am I good and Would you also stack off? should i have slowed down and see a safe turn then shove ??? what safe turn do you want to see that helps here, he has you crushed or you have him crushed, there are no draws so whats the turn got to do with anything?? are you saying you're folding if a K drops?........ im wondering what you think the safe/scare cards are? The hand itself is about as standard as it gets but your thinking about the turn, IE, slowing down, scare cards, etc, baffles me, you're playing at no sort of level and the baord is about as scary as a titus bramble sliding tackle. Title: Re: how fast should i play bottom two pair? Post by: MC on January 25, 2009, 12:42:39 PM You have to raise your hand on the flop because your hand is vulnerable, as bottom 2 always is...
You have to raise a reasonable amount (ie. min raise I dislike) so your raise is okay. You have to call when he shoves, you are beating AK, AQ, AJ, AT, A8, even the lower rags. Possibly a funky 8T. Okay occasionally he wakes up with A9 or a set, but certainly not often enough to ever consider not stacking off here... Title: Re: how fast should i play bottom two pair? Title: Re: how fast should i play bottom two pair? Post by: Newmanseye on January 26, 2009, 11:34:56 AM Feck even I know you snap call, fist pump and pray like a MOFO "please dont bing, please dont bink" and when he does "ffs what a lucky donk" then post hand history on blonde and confirm you were right, feel better about the call but wonder why you needed the reassurance in the first place.
but to answer the question, " how fast?" played to perfection imho, but that means nothing, its what you think that matters. |
