Just check behind imo
Title: Re: AJ 5 handed EP v the big blind Post by: boldie on January 25, 2009, 08:37:14 PM just check it here..nothing you beat should be calling you anyways.
Title: Re: AJ 5 handed EP v the big blind Post by: gatso on January 25, 2009, 08:54:56 PM check behind 100% of the time here. the only possible holding that might call that you are beating is AT. everything else that calls beats you, everything else that you beat folds.

Title: Re: AJ 5 handed EP v the big blind Post by: totalise on January 26, 2009, 01:33:40 AM just check it here..nothing you beat should be calling you anyways. what do you mean "should" the whole point of playing poker is to exploit players that do things that htey shouldn't do! I'd vrey happily bet this river and ecxpect to get called by whatever junk they got to the river with. You as a poker player want to make money by letting your oppo's make mistakes. Dont check and forbid them that chance! Title: Re: AJ 5 handed EP v the big blind Post by: George2Loose on January 26, 2009, 02:01:34 AM I deffo VB here, what better hand checks the river? Title: Re: AJ 5 handed EP v the big blind Post by: Ironside on January 26, 2009, 04:19:14 PM if you bet and get raised?
Title: Re: AJ 5 handed EP v the big blind Post by: TheChipPrince on January 26, 2009, 04:35:46 PM if you bet and get raised? Fold, if he's bluffed you so be it, but your beating very little... Title: Re: AJ 5 handed EP v the big blind Post by: gatso on January 26, 2009, 04:40:03 PM I deffo VB here, what better hand checks the river? what worse hands call your vb? The random 9x hands he has like K9 Q9 J9 etc It's a freeroll not a 1k event Title: Re: AJ 5 handed EP v the big blind Post by: gatso on January 26, 2009, 05:36:05 PM It's a freeroll not a 1k event yeah, fair point Title: Re: AJ 5 handed EP v the big blind Post by: NoflopsHomer on January 26, 2009, 05:37:27 PM If random 2nd/3rd pair hands haven't folded thus far, they probably won't fold here.
