Two folds and win 6,000 chips I guess? But I've already got one caller who may have limped in with any of the many hands that are not only better than 10J, but he's likely to call me with some of those that he would fold if he had no investment in the pot. I was confident that the BB would check his option. He'll still be doing that when he's only got 1.5 BBs left. I accept, because better players than I have already said it, that shoving is optimal, but...and pardon my coninuing ignorance, isn't that only the optimal play if your opponents understand what you're doing? |
