It takes george 3 hrs to clean his car of snow – it takes Eli 6 hrs to clean the same car – working together how long will it take to clear the car?

George can clear 2/3rds in 2 hours, Eli 1/3 in 2 hour, thus 2 hours.

I await to be told the obvious thing I have missed so I can claim illness as an excuse :)

Its obv unless there is some catch about George and Eli not getting on and everytime lazy slow Eli cleans a bit George throws a snowball at him.

UMM, George is cleaning SNOW, Eli is just cleaning the car, there's no mention of snow, so 6 hours?

is "clean his car of snow" a euphemism for something, have goerge and eli got there hands down eachothers trousers in an alleyway somewhere?

this one happend to my pal the other day, couldnt work out if he'd gotten a good deal or not,(or even what the question is for that matter)

in the betting shop girl comes in selling dvd's, 4 for £10 she says, he wants five after having a look they go back and forth and she says that he can have 4 for £10 and that final and then when they agree on that he can have the 5th for a discount rate of £2!!!!!  but he's paid £2.50 for the rest so wtf?

i still cant work out if the 5th one was a good deal or if he got knocked paying £2.50 each when buying 4, i mean if 4 for £10 was the deal he assumed that it was £3 for one so who got the better deal?

if she sells 1 for £2 she can sell all 5 for £2 and he got knocked?  selling the 5th at £2 when he wanted 5 for £2 is rubbing he's face in it or he got the bargin?

(they all worked and were good copies as well)

I'm at the creative stage where i need information, direction, inspiration and compulsion, none of which i'm getting from this mob!!!!

this t.v series WILL be the next big Amecain t.v drama, Johnathon Ross said it the other day when interviewing glenn close, these things are huge at the moment and hollywood stars are happily digressing into the world of the T.V in the states and the conceptes are becoming more and more fantastic, ive clocked this as being the perfect time to start it, just need that bit of motivation to get it going!
