original - terry mccann is a old mate of Arthur, who has done some porridge for an unspecified crime - but the inference is it is related to arthur. they hook up again when he is released a few years later. there bond is strong, remake - "archie" flags down a cab driven by "jamie" - who the fuck calls a minder "jamie" ?? - never met him before, but 10 minutes later hands him a case with 50 grand in it. aye sure. "new arthur" also seems to have a conscience. old arthur had the mind of a rattlesnake and would have sold his mother for a quid.
