Can't call unless you know the player , probably a small to mid pair , ak+ is a raise and snap call allin with his stack.

his range here? We're usually racing aren't we? Fold/Call or raise he 3*s it?

actually I'm changing my answer. I looked at your stack size rather than his and it seems that soooo many people atm are shoving AK with approx 30bb that AQ doesn't play so well against his range.

now I've reread it I see he's shoved <18bb and we have antes so this is much closer. I'm now tempted to call

This is certainly not an easy fold imo,most of his range is made up of Ax,kq,low-mid pairs so we either are 50/50 or have him crushed a lot of the time,i don't see why it's an easy fold seems more of a nit fold to me, ;flushy;

I'm shoving here

How many people do this QQ, KK or AA?

AK is possible, but I'd be surprised if we're worse than a coin-flip here, and a pretty good chance we have him dominated...

i call without much thought.

imo its just too big to be AA-QQ

a race seems the most likely scenario, which although may not be a situation you want, there is a bit of added value

AK seems unlikely, and heavily outweighed by AJ, AT, even A9

+ if he is new at the table there must be a chance that he has just been done on the table he was on before, and is tilting off?

plus if you catch him then you get to do your high pitched giggle - implied odds?
