The price is too short IMO. Excpetionally well coached team but will miss Henson and might just get found out up front by France and Ireland this year. Ireland are probably the most likely winners. Laying England is probably the stand out money making opportunity. I hope England come good soon, I have alot of time for Martin Johnson but the Autumn internationals were a real shambles and I think they'll struggle for a while yet.

I think England, Scotland and Italy can be written off.
Ireland start against France so Wales have the advantage of easing themselves into it. Get mistakes ironed out before a big game and one of their main rivals drop points.
If it goes to the final game with Wales and France or Ireland having won 3 out of 4 then Wales have the edge again. They are at home, and if it's Ireland they are competing with it's a simple case of winning at home to win it which they should be able to do. If France are the closest rivals then Wales will know what is needed as they play later. Knowing you only have to kick a penalty rather than risk it going for a try can make all the difference.
I only see France away as a tough game for Wales wheras games between France, Ireland and England may be tougher.
France are decent but i'm not to sure about their coach. Some dodgy selections last year and look like they may have continued this year.
Ireland are alright but i can't see them beating Wales in Cardiff in the final game if Wales know a win will give them the Championship.

Basically I think Wales will win it. Oddswise.....not great odds but it's not like there is some obvious value out there.
Grandslam odds are just over 6/1 i think. Ladbrokes have all the games priced up already and it works out at over 9/1 but you can't bet on it. I think they'll win the grandslam but it's obvious that 6/1 isn't good value.

Henson only been ruled out for the Scotland game though?

Plus many shrewdies think Wales are a better side with Shanklin in there...

Wales worthy favourites on form, but price too short. I prefer Ireland if you want to back an outright winner, if it comes down to the last game you can always lay off on Wales

England and Italy don't appeal. France meh, who knows, shoot themselves in the foot so often with bad coaching and selections

I like an e/w punt on Scotland. Improving at last.

Yeah I think Scotland will be tough to beat for any of the teams, but not sure they are strong enough to challenge over full 5 games.. Famous last words! Cant look at England unfortunatley at the mo, and as you say how France turn out is anyones guess.. Ireland have to go to Wales for the last game, which is what sways me to back the Welsh, the price isn't great but they have the winning habit, and conficence will be high.  First bet of 09 so fingers crossed

Wales better without Henson? Wales have won every single six nations game that Henson has started. They've won 2 from 10 without him since his first start.

That's because they know that if Henson is playing then Charlotte Church will be in the crowd watching and she's practically Queen of Wales so they all try a bit harder.
