Title: DTD - What a shame!! Post by: ezzo44 on February 09, 2009, 04:41:51 PM Visited the cub for first time on saturday after qualifing for the £300 online. Took me 4 hours from kent by donkey (ran out of carrots on the M1) looking for a couple of lines to sum up what i thought of DTD club but can sum it up in one word - WOW.
Anyway, i cashed and with 32 players left i shoved with AK spade and got called by AK hearts and he conjured up a flush :( but i cashed anyhow. So anyway, back to the title - what a shame that there is no DTD in the south. I know theres prob 1001 legal and financial reasons for this but what a fantastic venue it would be to have one down here in London. I doubt he will ever franchise out tbh. Why would he risk the brand by opening a club somewhere that he cannot oversee on a daily basis, like he can in Nottingham. Title: Re: DTD - What a shame!!
