Title: Re: AKs in sb Post by: totalise on February 13, 2009, 01:07:05 AM against a good % of people I dont really mind a call here, when u cold call a 3bet they tend to put you on pairs like JJ---88, and when you pair up they just dont believe and try to go for hero plays, especially if their 3bet % is reasonably high, but sayin all that nonsense, 4betting is the best play against random unknowns, and i dont think its very close, and if you ARE flatting here, you have to make sure that when you miss, you fight for the pot, otherwise flatting isn't going to be very profitable at all.
Title: Re: AKs in sb Post by: doubleup on February 14, 2009, 11:45:37 PM These guys are quite shallow so I'm in the 4-betting camp, altho if the lot goes in your prob a bit behind. They're fully stacked, just Ironside has 2.5x buyin... But I'm in the 4 betting camp here too, $32-40 kinda range... You never fold at The Nash? I can only think of 2 reasons why the Ironside i know folded: 1) He's been abducted, and replaced by an Alien! In which case; Go back to your own world and give us back our Iron! 2) Can't think of one, so see 1) I want proof you are the real Ironside: sing us a song! As played, folding when there's a bunch more action behind you doesn't sound that bad, the error was just not 4-betting imo....
