Title: Chest & Back Wax
Post by: Maxriddles on February 15, 2009, 07:57:00 PM
Any guys had this done and how painful is it?

Wife has been suggesting for a while I get it done, I think the back and shoulders would be a walk in the park but the chest must be very painful.

I don't think waxing any part of the body is a walk in the park

pft - can't be as bad as a bikini wax (chest, not back sack & crack!) which isn't too painful

ffs, 'will it be painful' since when did a little bit of stinging matter.

You need to stand up, be proud, be a man, and erm, go do what the wife is telling you to do. :)

Used to have my chest done a few years back.

Stings a bit to be honest especially the first time.

Just do it then you'll know for yourself.

If you've got a lot of hair trim it a bit first so that they all point the same way. If you don't it'll pull like fook!!!

Unless you're an Olympic swimmer there is no excuse for shaving/waxing your chest - when did Blonde turn into a David Beckham wannabe forum?

One of the guys in work openly admits he shaves his chest, and he gets dogs abuse for it every day of his life!

Only big girls blouses shave/wax their bodies!

You might want to suffix that with "...and EvilPie."

Think I may give in and give this a go, the back and shoulders hold no fear for me but I'm still much less sure about the chest wax (main worry is about nipple area, it hurts thinking about it).

I don't think there's any shame in men getting waxing done or in using male cosmetic products. A decent Moisturiser is an essential IMO as is a good quality shave gel.
I didn't always hold these views but my wife bought me a gift set a few years back, I tried it and noticed the difference right away.

Real men are well groomed.

each to their own I suppose but I much prefer men with a bit of hair on them - as long as it's not wildly out of control :)

OK, Magnum PI was a hit with the ladies but that was an era when male body hair was seen as manly, rather than off-puting. May well be that men are victims of the media telling us how we should be as much as women are. That said it's more a comfort issue with me anyway and I believe waxing may be lower maintenance than the trimming and immac regime.

No need to suffix it. I'm quite happy to be included with the big girl's blouses.

You might want to add a line about how their chances of bagging large breasted strippers increase exponentially though.

How many large breasted stripper's has your hairy self had Mr. Dave?

Nipple area's not a problem mate.

It's the bit near your collar bone that really smarts.

I won't lie and say it's not painful but wtf it only hurts for the 10 minutes they're doing it.

A little tip if you go through with it. Don't wear white. You WILL bleed!!

Sweet.

It would be funnier if it wasn't so close to the truth though  ;)

It can when you have your whole chest done.

There's fookin thousands of them!! One of them's bound to hang on a bit harder than the others and take a bit of skin with him.

It's only a tiny bit. I was joking about the picture being close to the truth.

I'm looking forward to the rate-my-waxing thread.

Actually, on second thoughts...

please do it though, and tell us all that it really really hurt and that noone should ever think about doing this again. ever.
