Title: Help please
Post by: Colchester Kev on February 23, 2009, 05:05:02 PM
A friend of my lads hasnt really played much poker in a few years and is looking at getting back into live games ... does anyone know of anywhere on the net that would give him a sort of refresher/strat guide to help him get back into the swing of things.

According to my Son, the chap knows basics like hand rankings etc ... but needs a general reminder of everything.

Cheers

FFS, I had Rookie as firm fav to be the first with that type of post ... Never imagined it would be a fellow UEFA cup team fan that would do it :)

stu rutter has a great strategy guide on 32 red. some of the stuff is aimed at beginners and stu writes really well.

fwiw id recommend playing lowest stakes sngs (most poker for $ imo) and harrington on holdem vol.1
