Title: Shove the nuts?
Post by: MC on March 03, 2009, 10:04:20 PM
Real quick one. And very nitpickey. I'm always shoving this river but in this case wondered if it's the best play?

The only problem I have with shoving here is that I have this player as more likely to be on a bluff the way the hand played out. But, you never know, they could have rivered some funky strong hand.

Any argument for a smaller raise?

having re popped yr last raise i'd re raise same as he raised the 370 hoping that he would at least call or hoprfully re pop it back, shoving it all in i dont think he is going to call especially slow play HU

Valid suggestion, perhaps this was best in this situation as it arose.

Don't think you can say "i don't think he is not going to call" just cos the blinds go up slowly! He's not folding a flush and he's possibly not folding a set.

With future information I'm actually glad I shoved based on the hand I ended up beating him with, but obviously didn't know this at the time.
