I heard all about Mr Guoga's post at Walsall earlier this week, but I've only just had the chance to read it myself..

I considered not responding at all, maybe that would have been the best option, but I feel I need the chance to justify what I said and defend myself From his abuse.

He says he always liked me.

Well, in Amsterdam about 4 years ago he certainly didn't prove it. He subjected me to a tirade of abuse I have never encountered before. He abused me and my family. He called me names I have never been called before or since.

He clearly doesn't remember this. Perhaps he has abused and taunted so many players he forgets who he has been rude to and who he hasn't.

He keeps his antics for the biggest events. He is clearly a self publicist who believes any publicity is good publicity. He is usually well behaved in non televised tournaments. He clearly makes a conscious decision to behave badly when he can hit the headlines. He is not reacting spontaneously. It is all an act.

And what an appalling act it is.

Imagine how you would feel, playing in a million dollar tournament. You have just lost a huge pot and you have an uncouth showman rubbing your face in it, laughing at you. He is not celebrating his win, he is just taunting you for losing.

And then he has the audacity to apologise afterwards. As though he make the remarks accidentally. He apologises purely to make himself look better. If you do something in the heat of the moment, an apology makes it better. If you make a calculated action, you can make as many apologies as you like. It doesn't make it any difference. You are responsible for you actions. and the actions of Tony G are those of ungentlemanly, rude oaf.

If someone I like and respect calls me a wanker it upsets me and I want to know why. I neither like nor respect Tony G.

A friend immediately offered to bankroll me in a $25,000 heads up challenge match with Tony G. I was initially very tempted. But what would it prove? If it meant Tony G never acted obnoxiously again it would be worth it. But, he has made it clear nothing will change him. So there will be no challenge match.

Camel im behind you all the way, ive only met/played this guy once and I aint got no time for him. Dave and Tikay like him and they good judge of people but I cant see what he has that makes anybody want to be close to him. The very first time I played in Amsterdam was 2 years ago this is a fact, I have never ever ever got anybodies family involved in any abuse during poker play.
I assert that you have made this up which is very sad.

As for somebody giving you 25k to play me its great I can tell you one thing:  I will play any game you can name for any amount you can count.

I would like somebody to come and say that they have heard me swear during any poker tournament or cash games or have evey seen me abuse the dealer in any form what so ever. If anyone continues to make things up I will respond to you like I will respond to the Camel.

People always have disagreements, they usually get blown out of proportion, people usually hold grudges for years over VERY STUPID and trivial stuff.

I would really like to see someting positive come from this, the people of blonde should not need to watch a train wreck, they should want to help the problem. Lets come up w/ a solution to help Tont G, the Camel, maybe even help a charity! Lets do some good, anyone can help keep bad blood going, show me something different. 

This could be fun, helpful, and maybe even good for people!

I don't think Brian is trying to solve arguments. Tony G is who he is and so is Keith . What Brian is talking about ( I think) is getting some perspective about all of this dealing with it and moving on. If a good cause benefits then all the better.

Nobody can resolve it but Tony and Keith, the people of blonde just dont need to take sides or promote bad blood, lets have fun, help people? Maybe a crazy idea??????

I think everyone knows I think Keith is a great guy, but you also need to realize I understand Tony G because we are similar players and personalities. I am sure one day I will make a mistake in judgement and pay a price, I hope it does not happen but when you are emotional and competitive things happen. I am not saying this is waht happened w/ Tony, I am just giving some ideas!

The bottom line is that a bunch of "shit talk" on blonde is really not the answer to anything!!!!!

If Tony G agrees to the Sumo match with The Camel for 50p.

I will make a donation to charity and change my opinion of Tony G, and provide the salt too.
