Im a nit early so I probs flat with 10 10

As played I fold unless I have some notes that the guy is bad.

Can't even put him on a flush draw cos I think most bad players raise more/shove

I dont like the raise here pre. Def a flat for me.

I think the flop is a pass because we can't really call without a plan for turn/river unless we have info on villain and are prepared to stack off here which seems horrible

While I agree that calling is certainly a viable option, maybe even a default, I don't see how 3 betting tens on the button to a lone MP raiser can be wrong??

i dont think its that bad at all, but firstly, what are you gonna do if he 4bets pre? thats why i hate the 3b personally this shallow, obv in a deepstack comp staandard.  .

Yes you are right, I  dont think its that bad at all, but guess like the flop is a pass and should be prepared to stack off..

Pre flop not post, flatting post flop just makes no sense with the stack sizes, both stacks are pretty much committed to any turn.

I probably fold just because it is 1st level and I have no idea where I am. It must be marginal whether to shove or fold so fold has to be better equity wise ?

This is a 100% flat pre,
proceed with caution post flop
only try to get it in if you hit a T.

As played just fold.

i meant that i hate bet/folding. but i just hate all ur options really once u 3b pre and bet the flop, we end up putting in over 25% of our stack and when i played around with a reasonable range we were always had enough equity to warrant getting it in.  but trigger showed me i was wrong in an early morning chitchat.

Yeah I understand this man, sometimes I think playing a lot of heads up hinders my judgment if I play a one off full ring game on the side.

Btw, you haven't responded to my PMs man, are you grimming me? Lol ;)

I found this to be very true. When I mainly played HU on HP I thought everyone was bluffing  or had missed the flop and were betting with Ace high and that that's why I was shit at MTTs.

[ ] I was just shit at MTTs

[X] I was just shit at poker in general.

[X] Still am :(

[X] Sympathises a little

Think I will stop playing MTTs alongside heads ups so I'm at least in the right mind-set!

Don't worry James I'll set the knee-cappers on Alex soon ;)
