Title: NINES!
Post by: George2Loose on March 15, 2009, 08:10:54 PM
OK I suck at playing 99

1) Should I raise pre even tho UTG has limped

2) Should I put short stack in?

limping or raising is fine for me

Depending on info on player if he's tag/nit, are we never consider passing here his raise is quite small considering how many players in the pot and surely he isn't folding so at best we're likely to be 50/50.Obv if opp is lag then just ship it in but just is our play not partly dependant on image/read on oppo.

He has 12bb somehow i don't think he is looking at 44 and checking....

I know it's probably fairly standard but I just like checking these things

I put him in and he had QQ

I get that just would expect him to just shove worse pairs not make such a small raise, was just asking

his bet is essentially a shove (committed) - in $215 tourney id expect people to be making this raise instead of shoving as it looks slightly less like a big ol' squeeze
