Title: Free stuff Post by: EvilPie on March 16, 2009, 12:49:13 PM I've got a load of stuff that I need to get rid of.
Things like dishwasher, furniture etc. I've heard about these charity peeps that come and fetch pretty much anything but I haven't got a clue who they are or where they hang out. Anybody know of a reputable one that's actually going to do some good with my stuff rather than put it on ebay for their own selfish gains? Title: Re: Free stuff Post by: Colchester Kev on March 16, 2009, 12:54:37 PM i will have the dishwasher .... ours has just lost the will to live.
Please pop it in an envelope and post it to me. Title: Re: Free stuff Post by: kinboshi on March 16, 2009, 12:55:26 PM i will have the dishwasher .... ours has just lost the will to live. I rang the british heat foundation and they came and collected everything and either sold it in their shop or gave it to the homeless who come round and choose their stuff from the shop.
Title: Re: Free stuff Post by: boldie on March 17, 2009, 07:56:26 AM Sally Army should take it.. the local council will probably also have a charity that gives it to the homeless (well, not the actual homeless as they have no use for a dishwasher but people that have just been re-housed and can't afford new stuff.)
Title: Re: Free stuff Post by: The_nun on March 17, 2009, 08:33:59 AM You may possibly have a charity in your area like we have. It collects for the local childrens home for those of them that are venturing out into the big wide world alone, so need furniture etc.. to set up home. Ask your local authority.
