Title: preflop play and with the turn can i ever fold?
Post by: Newmanseye on March 16, 2009, 07:13:17 PM
This hand history is fecked, but its the first hand and i am in the big blind. I get one call utg, i check the flop pot bet the turn and get reraised, as its the first hand it all goes in on the turn but can i really find a fold the first hand with this hand ?  Iwas i overly optimistic with trips and openended straight flush draw to a very passive preflop action?

is check call the flop, donkbet the turn the worst possible line for our hand? someone with omahaha qualifications explain, but it looks diabolical unless opponent is a spewtard and we are fistpump getting it in when raised on the turn.

Check/call flop and turn. River is very much opponent dependent, I often fold here because ppl will most of the time check behind, even with A9 here or underhouse (The latter being very unlikely in this case).
