Title: Another DON Situation Post by: TightEnd on March 16, 2009, 08:33:00 PM Shove as per a normal SNG or does the situation/stack sizes of the other players say fold in DON strategies, with the reraiser covering me?

QQ is right on the tipping point for me, ak and jj i muck and get it in with kk+. Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: George2Loose on March 16, 2009, 09:26:10 PM anyone here shove pre?
Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: Longy on March 16, 2009, 09:38:00 PM anyone here shove pre? Well i am either shoving or folding. Mainly dependent on the 3 bettor. Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: GreekStein on March 16, 2009, 10:01:55 PM in a DON this is a fold.
I'm only not passing KK/AA. Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: TightEnd on March 16, 2009, 10:40:37 PM Reads? QQ is right on the tipping point for me, ak and jj i muck and get it in with kk+. the re-raiser is taggy, not been at all out of line so far, as much as you can tell about anyone in these DONs which tend to play tight all round and then bubble shoving by all and sundry Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: GreekStein on March 16, 2009, 10:58:20 PM I find more calls to a raise and jam than a raise and min reraise in a DON.
muck quickly imo Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: Longy on March 16, 2009, 11:30:50 PM Reads? Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: dousche on March 17, 2009, 02:10:48 AM easy fold
Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: thetank on March 17, 2009, 02:33:49 AM I like the fold, but I think it's pretty tough.
Good analysis hand this one. Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: TightEnd on March 17, 2009, 10:06:21 AM I am not sure why, as I normally fold this in this format, but I shoved. This is a mistake (irrespective of result) I think as with seven left we have one stack in the dead zone and one stack of 1000, we don't need to risk a flip or running into KK+ until the two lower stacks have made their decisive moves
I was extremely surprised when JJ called me, I have to be beating that to shove over raise and min-reraise right? Prewie: raises 770 to 1470 and is all-in DontRaiseAA: folds TheROCK1989: folds Knallworscht: calls 770 *** SHOW DOWN *** Prewie: shows [Qc Qh] Knallworscht: shows [Jh Jc] this led me to think - In these $20s, and maybe the $50s DONs whether I am giving far too much credit and folding many winning spots. Or if this is just an isolated instance . p.s 50p..he spiked a Jack lol Title: Re: Another DON Situation Post by: GlasgowBandit on March 17, 2009, 11:54:41 AM What's DON?
