While they aren't turned away by those sites, technically they can get into trouble if they openly admit to playing online. Don't have the list this minute, but there's a good few sites.

Sites that accept US customers include Stars, Tilt, Cake and Cereus (UB and Absolute). Tbh the whole UIGEA act, never really attempted to make it illegal for people to play online, just unlawful for financial institutions to allow people to fund their accounts. I believe in some states it is illegal under state law but hardly ever enforced. The sites listed above just found workarounds to allow US customers to deposit, like paper checks which for some reasons were left off the UIGEA act. It will be interesting to see how Australia try enforce this law, or infact whether it will ever get to that point.
