Title: Rather obvious April Fools prank? Post by: MC on March 25, 2009, 09:33:03 PM Read in PokerPlayer magazine about this website www.10thousandpoundsforfree.com supposedly offering a 10k bankroll for the first x amount of players who check it out or something. Was obviously rather dubious but whacked in the url anyway...
Looks like a rather lame prank to me, was surprised it was worthy of a mention in the magazine (or on this forum for that matter, but meh!) Title: Re: Rather obvious April Fools prank? Lol, ah I see ;) I didn't think it was from the % cut Blonde's getting from my heads-up staking thing, otherwise it'd be limited to only 1 Blonde being staked for 0.01/0.02 and having to buy-in in short! Listen Fella ... that 2% was very gratefully accepted, regardless of what it amounts to ... muchos respect is due for that gesture. Title: Re: Rather obvious April Fools prank? Best April fools prank was the one about Kev getting sponsored to be a professional railbird ;D Title: Re: Rather obvious April Fools prank? Post by: AndrewT on March 26, 2009, 11:57:43 AM The best one (well it would have been if they'd got the date right) was this whole blonde SAS staking scheme - they put a lot of work into it.

If you're gonna pull a "prank" like this you might as well execute it properly. Poor effort imo... Title: Re: Rather obvious April Fools prank? Post by: Laxie on April 01, 2009, 01:48:03 PM It's only had 47 hits...I'm guessing most are from us. rotflmfao
