Title: Get a Grip FFS
Post by: The Camel on March 29, 2009, 06:50:38 PM
How is this headline news ffs:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7970731.stm

I bet you would struggle to find one journo who hasn't put in a dodgy expenses claim.

It's £10 ffs! And you can hardly blame the geezer wanting to watch porn if he's unlucky enough to be married to Jacqui Smith.

Agreed.

Something like this should be news, not that rubbish. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/sussex/7970710.stm

This pisses me off too. What's the point of having "free press" if this is what we do with it?

While I agree, it's a minor mistake & a minor embarassment and shouldn't be headline news, her own department takes the stance of "NO IFS, NO BUTS. Fraud means you will get a criminal record".

If that's her attitude to the poor, then she deserves hoisted by her own petard.

I feel sorry for her hubby though, twice.

funny thing is that people focus on the 2 adult movies....a total of 5 movies were claimed for...(under the wrong address).

Why can MPs claim for watching normal movies that aren't work related? ..Oh wait, they can't.

she broke the rules over all 5 movies and I bet ya it won't be the only time they've claimed movies.
