Title: Final table facing a (i think) tough decision Post by: AlexMartin on April 06, 2009, 02:00:31 AM Ok read on villain is pretty tight, showing as 15/9 over 150 hands. Also seemed pretty average postflop (like that matters here). Has 3b shoved on me once on final and otherwise been fairly quiet.
Table in general has been tight and relatively tough, most lp opens getting shoved on and getting through, pretty sure shallow stacks+ ladder payouts (some guy was playing 50nl at same time) has kept play way too tight. anyhow, thoughts. ***** Hand History for Game 505506838 ***** $300000.00 USD NL Texas Hold'em - Monday, April 06, 12:08:00 ET 2009 Table 20000 Guaranteed NL Holdem 232142 (Real Money) Seat 7 is the button Seat 1: Frank2770 ( $63797.24 USD ) Seat 2: JammyJenny ( $43511.20 USD ) Seat 3: goldRims37 ( $81928.42 USD ) Seat 4: DJslow ( $41508.81 USD ) Seat 5: Pwnosaurus ( $69515.25 USD ) Seat 6: DanNix ( $33584.44 USD ) Seat 7: bjerre99 ( $48654.64 USD ) bjerre99 posts ante of [$300.00 USD]. We can take out some of the combos of the higher pairs here, as villian wouldn't necessarily open shove qq+. Title: Re: Final table facing a (i think) tough decision Post by: thetank on April 06, 2009, 03:11:45 AM Call imo. We can take out some of the combos of the higher pairs here, as villian wouldn't necessarily open shove qq+. I was thinking same. Very unlikely for villain to have the big pairs, so this is a spot where we really have to, as you say, sigh and embrace the variance. Being in the big blind makes it so much easier of a call, don't have to worry about anyone behind us.
