Title: Is this actually possible?
Post by: ItsMrAlex2u on April 08, 2009, 10:35:15 PM
My wife pointed me in the direction of this tonight. Obviously I have seen it and ignored it many times before, but I am seriously questioning whether its possible unless you become a monk or perhaps get marooned on a desert island

I have had my daily allowance, possibly two, so far this year. Don't miss it.

Gone right off it, don't really miss it. Don't miss the bad hangovers and manboobs either.

I have got to the stage where i will go the whole week without a drink, then do well over 21 units in one night. If there was a definition of a binge drinker it's me.

Oops - This is advice I have been taking for years. Unfortunately I've only just seen that there's a 'no' before the 'more'.

me too.  I can easily go a month or two touching nothing, then make up for it in one fell swoop.  think I managed 60 units over the blonde bash 6 weekend ;oopsy;  Not good.

One bottle a night is hardly alchoholic.

Edit; unless it's spirits.

agreed..but if you're thinking it's not possible to do less than that...I reckon it might be a bit of a problem.

Why are you dribbling into your beer?

I think i may be over the recommended daily allowance. What to I do? Do i get a blue peter badge or something?

If I wasn't allowed more than two pints of lager tops per day for the rest of my life, I wouldn't be too bothered.

Would be a bit of a shame, coz I like the odd blow out at new year and stuff, but it wouldn't be the end of my life.

I struggle to stay under 21 units in a day. Especially at the GUKPTs

It says per week Dewi, not per hour.

21 units per day is about right imo

it is even more restrictive if you are a female

To be fair; Doing the ironing whilst drunk is dangerous.

That's why having more than one kid is vital.  One does the ironing and the other gets your drinks.  It's all about delegation.
