tez.
june. (or Junnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnne)
ludder. (or luddddddddddddderrrrrrrrrr)
nor. (or norrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)

Will add further words when and if they require translating.

Also why do u lot want Lederer dead?

They are running an illegal secret grease fire business and they need more fuel.

Lederer is big = lots of fuel. Raymer & flushy are next on the list.

lol.

I would like to clear this matter up if at all possible:

tez = terrible
This abbreviation was created by myself in the year 2007.

june = a quick sarcastic response; a way of saying no
This is a really difficult one to try and explain. This term was first used in late 2005 and was created by Dave Jones.
It was first used during a home game at Jonesy's house when he lived with his parents. The terms was first used as a sarcastic response to something. I'm pretty sure that Rich asked Jones if he could have a lift home, and Jones responded "june, no way".

Also, it could be argued that the words "june" and "nor" have similar meanings, because both are appropriate for if you lose a flip in a tournament. Sometimes when the AK beats my Jacks on the river, ill  say "juuune" and sometimes instead i will opt for "norrrrrrr".

I am most likely to use "June" in the following circumstances:

a) if something happens that i don't really like or someone says something i don't like. "June, ffs", "June, thats not really fair".

ludder = ladder
This word was first used in the Summer of 2008, i am not sure who the creator was.

Nor = oh no; oh damn
This one goes back a long way .The creator was Marc "Steelio" Steele, who is not actually in the Shrewdies, and dates back to the early years of the 21st century.

Why Lee (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1769) Jones (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1769)?  You guys got something against Cardrunners?  lol

Lee Jones used to be PokerStars poker room manager, he was the staff member who would always be at the final table of the big donkaments. Because the people who own PokerStars are relatively low profile he became the public face of PokerStars even more so when he got heavily involved with the EPT. In the same way we believe Kev has access to a blonde doomswitch, it's rumoured Lee Jones had the Stars doom/boomswitch. His nearest equiv now is Bryan S.There's a player on stars who's username is 'Lee Did It' his avatar is the TwinTowers in flames.

LOL

When I was at DTD for the anniv weekend I was talking to a guy who worked for pokerstars and jokingly asked him to turn off my doomswitch.  We says that in their offices they jokingly attach stickys to most of the switches saying Doomswitch so that there is someone to blame everytime someone starts running bad.

IWWIL =  I wonder what its like.  created by myself in early 2009. Its used mostly when someone at your table is running really good in flips and continues the run against you. Its a much friendlier term that the one flushy uses "run better/worse"

The term is used a lot on the shrewdies skype convo, and big name players such as Moomin and ricky "fkin Kellster have been seen using it. Expect it to reach the pocket fives players handbook pretty soon.

i started [  ]***************888888   also claw.  probably early-mid 2008.

U know when u make a mistake  you put the asterix (*) to correct yourself?

When the tickbox craze started on 2+2 i believe, i used the above to slowroll fellow players on the table when i said good luck.

Often i would say GL, they would reply "TY" and then i would hit them with the [   ]********************, (more asterix's for a more infatic (sp) delivery. Once you took your finger off the shift key whilst doing the above you sometimes hit a few 8's as you are eager to get your shot in. It just stuck.

Well, this is the thing - it was pretty obvious from the context it was used in that that was what it meant, but the asterixes and the 8 s confused me.  I thought it might mean 'gay' as in [ ] star8 (straight), but that didn't make sense.  I asked one of the youngsters at Luton once what it meant and he told me it meant 'in your eye' and was some kind of pictorial thing - but I was never really convinced.  Glad I asked now!
