Title: Snack time Post by: nirvana on April 19, 2009, 01:45:44 PM So I bought some pork shoulder steaks on a whim, cheap but looked nice with some nice fatty veins for flavour.
Sliced them in to strips (not too thin, we want some bite), seasoned with salt, pepper and aromat (multipurpose, works well with most things). Quick fry to seal, one chicken stock cube, half a mug of water, teaspoon of English mustard into the pan for 10 mins - reduce it baby. Toast your pitta, smother the inside with sour cream and chive dip, pop in the lovely pork & thick reduction, a simple salad of diced tomato and cucumber (skin removed natch).
