How do you think this will pan out then? Is there any way that this will effect online poker, should the ISP's have the right to choose what sites you can use?

How can the internet be sold into packages like TV, you will only be able to go onto the websites that your package chooses WTF?

What is going down in Europe?

The European internet is being threatened seriously!
The telecoms-package is a set of monstrous laws regulating the internet.
Amendment 138 is securing a fundamental rights.
If amendment 138 is excluded, internet will be turned into a cable-television system.
This is a campaign organized to raise awareness of the telecoms package in Sweden. For all of Europe, please see blackouteurope.eu.

Save the internet - talk to your MEPs now!
You have got until tuesday 21 April - 20h00 to call all Members from the ITRE committe of the European Parliament to ask them to vote for amendement 138 (renumbered 46) and reject any form of weakened compromise

There are far to many ways around this if it happened with Proxy's etc

It will be too hard/costly to police it if it was introduced.
