Title: Ipswich Post by: Colchester Kev on April 22, 2009, 12:36:09 PM Have sacked Magilton !!
Seems strange to me, although with the arrival of Clegg as Chief Exec, you have to assume they have someone in mind for the job. Ipswich is very much an impossible gig, small town club living on past histories .... and thinking they belong in the top flight. Title: Re: Ipswich Post by: Matt50 on April 22, 2009, 12:36:54 PM Neil Warnock's name was linked a week ago - hands off please.
Title: Re: Ipswich Post by: TightEnd on April 22, 2009, 12:39:17 PM I'm not too surprised. Expectation/hope was to make play offs, they haven't and a new chief exec
Boothroyd will be a good hire for this type of club Title: Re: Ipswich Post by: Colchester Kev on April 22, 2009, 12:40:29 PM Owen Coyle wont be going ... He will get a Prem gig in the next 2 years (I just hope it is with Burnley ;) )

It was obvious they were gonna sack him if they didn't get to playoffs, owner itching for change. Title: Re: Ipswich Post by: TheChipPrince on April 23, 2009, 09:30:10 AM Keane, lol. It was obvious they were gonna sack him if they didn't get to playoffs, owner itching for change. He'll do well if things are going smooth, he'll jump ship again as soon as it starts getting tough... This, apparently he has the worst man management skills Loved him as a player, don't as a manager Disagree here. I think it's obvious Keane left due to in house politics such being told the players need to come into work "with smiles on their faces" once a new exec came in. He could be an awesome manager.
