Come on Mancs ... Spank the goons and make sure that the second leg is played in a funeral like atmosphere because the goons will be 5-0 down. Title: Re: Mancs & Goons Post by: ChipRich on April 29, 2009, 03:59:59 PM come on the Goons!

I quite like the look of 2-1 Man U, but 8/1 is skinny. Might have a bash at 3-1 at 16/1 For Brent, 4-4 has been slashed to 250-1 on Skybet. Title: Re: Mancs & Goons Post by: TheChipPrince on April 29, 2009, 04:09:13 PM Goons please, know too many mancs...
Title: Re: Mancs & Goons Post by: Colchester Kev on April 29, 2009, 04:10:49 PM TBH I would like a Mancs v Chelski final again.

If we'd have played Fab & Song in the middle, Nasri & Walcott out wide, Adebayor and Eduardo up front we could have capitalised on just how poorly United are playing at the moment. As it was they outplayed us for half an hour playing very ordinary football Please sort it Wenger and get Fabregas back playing where he belongs - running the show Title: Re: Mancs & Goons Post by: nirvana on April 29, 2009, 10:15:11 PM I don't watch Man U much but is Anderson anything like the quality you'd expect in that side ?

before this year I always thought he was never good enough to be in a man utd strip and must be fergie's love child or have compromising photo's or something but this year he has seemed like a solid performer???? but then again I wouldnt see them as much as yourselves Title: Re: Mancs & Goons Post by: George2Loose on April 30, 2009, 11:27:44 PM Anderson is quality. Only 20 but has good ball retention and very good at playing defence splitting passes- obv his goal record is poor but he can deffo build on that- still very young don't forget.
Can never make my mind up re Fletcher. Title: Re: Mancs & Goons Post by: nirvana on April 30, 2009, 11:30:39 PM Can't trust your opinion on Anderson now :-) Fletcher very clearly a quality player, come on incredibly well least year and this

Carrick had gone off the boil a bit around the time of the L'pool and Fulham games, but looks back to something near his best now. Fletcher has always done his bit. Hope you're right about Anderson Title: Re: Mancs & Goons Post by: rossfourfive on May 01, 2009, 09:36:26 AM I've always liked Fletch but only because he's Scottish. Title: Re: Mancs & Goons Post by: Pawprint on May 01, 2009, 10:44:35 AM Andersen will be absolute quality, trust me. Whereas the other signing we made at that time, Nani, can leave as soon as possible. He has got to be one of the most frustrating players to watch and nearly impossible to support as a Man U fan.
I'm not even suggesting we need a replacement, I'd just rather not have him wearing the shirt. Fletcher does a great job for us, and Fergie clearly rates him for the big games. He works hard and rarely loses the ball. Every team needs this type of player in their team, just quietly keeping the workrate up. And he gets the odd important goal too. Did I mention we should get rid of Nani ? Please, anyone, take him. I'd probably pay to get rid of him.
