Doesnt look bad value at all Iron and will do all you want and more (unless your into some weird 3D hexagon orgy madness)

Personally wouldnt be buying from Argos though, you would probably get a bit more value from Ebuyer.co.uk

for 350 quid they arent bad - a bit plasticky but thats what you get these days for your money. spec wise it is pretty good, it will take 4gb ram so its upgradeable in the future.

the only thing about these machines is they are heavy, and big. they are almost pushing the boundries of being portable. but thats the price you pay for having a 17inch screen.

right click on a blank bit on the right and choose 'close sidebar'. either that or put some good gadgets on it

i think with those machines you actually get an XP 'fallback' CD, so you can actually install windows xp instead of using vista.

or you could enroll in the MS beta program for Windows 7. Anyone tried any poker software on Windows 7 ?

nope, there is normally a process that allows you to create a backup cd so that you can reinstall if anything goes wrong though.

probably wont work now you got rid of all that 'toshiba tosh' that was filling your hard drive, some people would have called in the system restore backup
