Title: Britney Spears @ O2 tickets on offer. Post by: suzanne on May 24, 2009, 03:07:51 AM I bought 6 tickets but my mate has pulled out so I have 3 tickets going spare.
I will be going with my daughter and my neice on the 13th of June. Block 101 row R so decent seats. If anyone is interested pm me please. I will be putting them on ebay soon so dont delay. On a side note as its been a long time since i ventured into London can anyone give me advice on the cheapest travel options? We will arrive in London Paddington (me and 2x 12yr old kids) and then travel via tube to the hotel, taxi to O2 and taxi back. We check out 11/12ish or earlier and ive booked the train back about 4pm. Not much time really but I am thinking a tourist bus so the girls can see the sights of London? Any advice appreciated. I am looking for something to fill a couple of hours. What I want is info on tour buses and the cheapest way to travel around London with 2 kids on a weekend. Just take them on the london eye ... will be a lot cheaper than bus tours ... and 2 hours is not long enough for a tour anyway. Title: Re: Britney Spears @ O2 tickets on offer. Post by: totalise on May 25, 2009, 04:36:23 AM keep the tickets for yourself and enjoy the space. Its a nominal sum of money. Freedom of space at concerts is under-rated.

Does the ticket price include a money back guarantee that there will be some Britney-on-girl action? Title: Re: Britney Spears @ O2 tickets on offer. Post by: Indestructable on May 25, 2009, 05:05:05 PM I've always fancied a trip on duck tours www.londonducktours.co.uk (http://www.londonducktours.co.uk) I took my nephew on this and he loved it. It starts with a mini tour on land around the usual London sites and then enters the river Thames. Well worth it, only downside like most things in London is the cost. Best free option is Covent Garden and/or Tate Modern. Title: Re: Britney Spears @ O2 tickets on offer. Post by: thetank on May 25, 2009, 05:13:23 PM The Natural History Museum is the the nutz for kids.
I can't wait till Molly is old enough for me to take her to go and see it. They love it the kids do. Title: Re: Britney Spears @ O2 tickets on offer. Post by: suzanne on May 27, 2009, 03:38:04 AM Date for the concert? Does the ticket price include a money back guarantee that there will be some Britney-on-girl action? The date is the 13th June and think they might be sold as I have a very keen buyitnow person pming me. Appreciate all the comments but the London eye is not what I want and not enough time...is there really not a 2 hour bus tour to see the palace, big ben, piccadilly circus etc? Or a weekend family travel pass? Help me out here guys pleez. I have googled but it not found anything reliable. Title: Re: Britney Spears @ O2 tickets on offer. Post by: relaedgc on May 27, 2009, 05:39:21 AM If you haven't even got enough time to go to the London Eye then I can't imagine you're going to have any success in seeing every major sight of London in so short a space of time either.
Title: Re: Britney Spears @ O2 tickets on offer. Post by: Claw75 on May 27, 2009, 09:40:34 AM Suzanne - if you want a cheap tour bus, route 11 goes past a lot of the major sights (it used to anyway!).

Here's a link to the route by the way - takes in St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, and Westminster (big ben, houses of parliament, westminster abbey) http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/gettingaround/maps/buses/?route=11 Title: Re: Britney Spears @ O2 tickets on offer. Post by: Ginger on May 27, 2009, 11:46:13 AM We've taken one of the Big Bus Tours (http://www.bigbustours.com/eng/london/default.aspx)before, great way to see London in a hurry - saying that, their tours take a minimum of 2 hours, 3H 30m for the longer tour and I think neither of those times include the river trip that is included in the price (and not taking into account that you might want to get off and actually look at the sights!)
On a plus note, the ticket is valid for 24hours, so if you work out your timings well you can get some great value out of the tickets. At £25 for adults, £10 for kids, I think they are pretty good. |
