Be careful - there are TWO Holiday Inns in Nottingham., Castle Marina - near to DTD, & Stapleford, right on J25 of the M1, which is some 10 minutes from DTD by car. Even cheaper is Days Inn, at the Leicester Forest Services, on the M1, just north of J21. £50 a night, & very friendly staff, it's about 20-25 mins from DTD. The Derby/Donington Days Inns on the A50, 10 mins from DTD, is fully booked that weekend, due to a Doinington event. Why are they renovating over half the hotel? The strong smell of paint probably blocks out the stench of the sewer in parts of the hotel though.
