Pre-flop... you both flat called a raise from SOFOS. IMO mistake number one, unless he's a bit of a maniac you raise or fold. The guy with pocket jacks also flat called, which gives you no information at all about his hand, if anything hes representing a weakness which was ultimately good for him.

Post-flop. Theres 300 in the pot plus the blinds, I'm assuming 25/50 or something like that?

Jon bets out 200. Again, without knowing how this guy is playing its hard to pin him to a hand, is he likely to flat call with two over cards to the flop, possibly AJ or two pair after a raise and a call? Straight is a possibility, as well as betting the flush draw.

Your raise was correct, you have to scare away the flush and straight draws. I don't think I could get away from this hand to be honest. I've immediately ruled out pocket 10s and Js. Does he like to bet nut flush draws, or straight draws? TPTK is most likely in my mind.

But what do I know...

Id have probably played it similar.  I could have put down 3 9's and he wasnt going to back down on 3 jacks either.  Just a bit unlucky for you that two pocket pairs are in the deal.

Thats the way I see it.

Ok thanks for the advice . I an going to analyse it myself on here , feel free to comment on anything.

It is a £30 sixpack on Will Hill. Blinds are 25/50 1 have 1300 ish in front of me.

Normally i would reraise with 99 but after a utg raise and flat call from 2nd pos i dont think it is the best play as i will not be prepared to call a substantial  all in here. Folding here is out of the question , I can afford a call and usually have great implied odds if i hit my set.
The flop comes down 9 10 j double suited in hearts of which I dont have one. 1st checks and 2nd pos bets 2/3 of the pot. Why is he betting? he has a hand as he has called a preflop utg raise but he must be worried about the draws. I immediatly push him all in . I do this based on my holding and barely stopping to consider what he has  which is a horrendous error. there are a lot of hands i dont want to be against and a lot of those hands are in the range of the 2nd pos caller. So when i push I will only be getting a call from a hand that had me almost dead or a hand with a monster draw.

I think my best play here is to reraise 600 and fold to an all in push. I still have game with the blinds and can come back.
