Title: Omaha hand against aggro opponent Post by: EvilPie on June 10, 2009, 12:56:43 AM Playing .50/1 cash omaha on Blonde.
I've just recently got OmahaManager and the stats played a big part in this hand so I thought I'd see what people thought. Villain's vpip is 64, pfr 46 over 113 hands. I've got notes that he's ridic aggro and bets everything. I've got $132, villain is on $250. We've just played a pot against villain and hero called his 3/4 pot river bet with top pair. The board was dangerous and looked a good bluffing spot and as expected he had air. Villain is in the BB I'm on the button with Ahrt Jd 6s Qh I like the hand and would normally raise but I know villain will do this for me which he does. Everyone else gets out of the way, I flat and we're HU with $7.50 in the middle. Q1 - Should I be looking to 3 bet this villain given his high pfr or is the flat ok? Flop comes 7c 4h Js Villain leads out for $7.50 which is expected so I call thinking my hand's good here. Again should I be raising or keeping the pot small? Turn comes 6d Villain leads out for the pot again $22.50 What's our move here? Is there any way of assigning a range or do we just assume that 2 pair is good? With stack sizes as they are you can definitely still call a reraise and play profitably post flop.

Now that I've got the software I'm showing a PFR of just under 10% which I think is probably a bit low. It does suggest that I'm missing some raising opportunities which this hand maybe highlights. |
