DTD were as ever the best hosts. Tikay, Compo and the rest of the Sky team were fantastic and all the players from around the country were the happiest and friendliest bunch I've seen at DTD. All this combined to make a great fun atmosphere. On the personal front, I came in 7th, despite taking the chiplead early on. It seemed like only Toby and myself came to the final with any intention of still playing so it was probably inenvitable we were going to clash, with Toby coming off the better on both occasions! Congrats to the winner Rob, played some good poker and also got that dash of luck required to win these things! Simon PS - also busted out Norman Pace, so if anyone starts a "Which 80's comedy icons have you busted?" thread then I can finally contribute! |
