Title: bnatural tesco - beware!
Post by: Ismene on June 19, 2009, 12:02:45 PM
Hi ,

This is primarily for all the ladies out there....

Just bought some bnatural products as they were on 3 for 2 in my local Tesco.  I don't have particularly sensitive skin - but OMG...

I applied the "soothing night cream" and two minutes later it looked as if i had dipped my face in acid. Bright tomato red , hot , swollen and itchy as hell. I spent the rest of the night breathing through a wet t-shirt in order to get some form of respite and popping antihistamine pills in an effort to calm it down.

Disturbingly, i googled the product today as I was in two minds as to whether i should complain to Tesco, it would appear that this is a well known reaction to their bnatural products. There are threads galore about the subject - i just wish I'd known...

I've complained now - and tbh i think it's ridiculous that the ingredients aren't even on display.

Just a quick warning in case anyone thought they might give them a try - be careful!

Yes thankfully. Redness dissipated over night with the anti h's, but as a result am a bit scaly... (it's a great look) Have been drenching myself in a vaseline and e45 to try and combat. Think I've succeeded in my camouflage so far - least Tikay's not called me out on it yet ;-)

You looked fine to me today. But then you always do. I see you as a sort of shimmering Princess.*

* Bear with me guys, she is my Boss.
