I've got a Vegas trip lined up for April 2010. Mainly be boozing for my mate's stag, but wouldn't mind sampling some poker while I'm there. What I'm asking is, what kind of poker goes on there at that time of year? And will any of it suit me? I've been playing a while, about 3 years online, not much live, and online I play cash only up to $0.50/$1, $20 STTs, medium MTTs now & then. Can you easily get in a cash game at say $1/$2 over there? What sort of MTT buy-ins are there? I think I'm a fairly decent player (make about 5K a year), but I know that lack of experience + vast quantities of alcohol is not a great combination for poker playing! So I accept I will probably lose whatever I sit down with. But all the same, I wanna have a go. Its Vegas baby! Yeah! November is a cracking time time go. cheap prices and weather usually in the 20's. I tend to use expedia but you can find decent deals on fat wallet for hotels. Will be there myself from the 5th Nov for a week. To Mr Eastwood April a good time to go for price and weather, usually a bit warmer, 25-30 degrees. Poker 24/7 everywhere. Noted. Thanks all. I read Big Deal recently and it gave the impression that a lot of the casinos have got rid of their card-rooms in favour of the more profitable slots. So I was a bit worried there wouldn't be a lot of poker out there. Seems I should be ok. Shuffle up n deal! |
