I want to be able to copy DVD's ( legal copies ) .  Can anyone recommend any decent free software for download?

Are they commercial DVD films? Are they encrypted? Are they dual layer (8GB ish?) What do you want to copy them to, standard 4GB single layer discs or dual layer?

Those are the questions that will decide what you need.

lol,  knock off Nigel .    Nope,  I am only going to be copying a dvd of a mountain bike video from the recent event at Fort William.  I am not aware to the best of my knowledge that I will be breaking the law. It is a copy of a friends dvd from the event .
