Title: Laptop Problem Post by: GreekStein on July 10, 2009, 09:33:48 PM Every time I switch the laptop on now it says 'harddrive not detected' and I have to unscrew the back and put it back again. It used to happen once in a blue moon and now it's happening all the time, really pissing me off.
Anyone know why this is happening over and over and if there's anything I can do myself about it? Title: Re: Laptop Problem Post by: bolt pp on July 10, 2009, 09:35:46 PM put a harddrive in

You need both really. Hope this helps Title: Re: Laptop Problem Post by: bolt pp on July 10, 2009, 11:02:15 PM you should also make sure you are in the correct location and that you're house is still where it should be
Title: Re: Laptop Problem Post by: gatso on July 10, 2009, 11:04:21 PM you should also make sure you are in the correct location and that you're house is still where it should be I fail to see why the location of your house is relevant. fair enough if it was a desktop but the whole point of a laptop is you can use it anywhere Title: Re: Laptop Problem Post by: bolt pp on July 10, 2009, 11:06:50 PM you should also make sure you are in the correct location and that you're house is still where it should be I fail to see why the location of your house is relevant. fair enough if it was a desktop but the whole point of a laptop is you can use it anywhere good point, though you should clarify that you're not otherwise against people checking to make sure their house is still there, or are you? Title: Re: Laptop Problem Post by: GreekStein on July 10, 2009, 11:15:40 PM Cool, thanks for fuck all lads. Will take the laptop somewhere tomorrow.

I'm neither for or against it tbh. I've always believed it should be down to the individual to decide for themselves whether or not they need to check Title: Re: Laptop Problem Post by: kukushkin88 on July 10, 2009, 11:19:54 PM The excellent advice almost certainly saved you a few quid at the tables, gl getting it fixed :-)
