when they arrested him he wasnt detained under the mental health act and he wasnt sectioned.

he was interviewed for 4 days and then went to court today where he was remanded to jail, not a mental health hospital or psychiatric unit.

if the police, a judge(and i imagine health workers saw himwhen he was being interviewed) think that its ok for him to be charged with attempted murder and remanded to jail then i'll go with what they say as opposed to your continual unsubstantiated assertion that he's had a mental breakdown.

bit of a silly argument, one of them is careless and almost certainly feels a bit foolish and the other is almost certainly guilty of one of the most serious crimes ever committed in a british school by a teacher. The two things aren't comparable in any way.

The individual with the porn (I note the comment that this may be a woman - none of the references I found specified gender) quite obviously did make a decision to view porn on a laptop used in their job as a primary school teacher...

can you not just except that sometimes humans hurt other humans without having had a breakdown, because they judge a situation incorrectly, because they lose their temper, because theyre not nice people to begin with etc.

where do i say that the guy was rational? but can you not separate him not being rational and him having a complete breakdown, it's quite an easy concept to understand and you seem like a clever chap, give it a go and you'll get it.
