Title: Push or fold? Post by: KarmaDope on July 16, 2009, 05:36:38 PM Low buy in, live tournament, blinds are 300/600 for next 3 mins then 400/800. Just been moved tables so have no reads. We have exactly 6000 chips and wake up with A7o in middle position. Speed of table indicates that the blinds will go up before they reach us. Standard shove or wait?

Post by: ALASKAN5IVE on July 21, 2009, 08:08:02 AM Fold, u still got 10 bigs in a live tournament, wait for a better spot imo, you get called your fked (technical term i believe), might as well jam blind from MP than with A7 in lots of ways, and its live poker lol, rembering your gambling your full stack with 5ppl ish behind you to act with an ace and a seven, winning only 900 points if it gets through, with no antes either (i.e. heaven number of small denomination chips)

its live poker - 10bb's and no antes you have plenty time - there will def be a better spot - even if it is blind v blind shoving Ax live also not your best play - i could get down to 5-6bb's before going with Ax |
