Title: Now Cole is approached by Man C Post by: TightEnd on July 16, 2009, 06:05:57 PM X-Factor bosses have called a crisis meeting after high-profile judge Cheryl Cole was approached by Manchester City. It is thought that City have put together a package worth over £90 million over three years for the Girls Aloud singer.
Simon Cowell is reportedly "furious" at the approach from City boss Mark Hughes who has long been an admirer of the Geordie stunner after seeing Cole's girl band live at Wembley Arena in 2007. City's bold move for Cole comes after a summer of high-profile transfers. City have already spent a total of £65 million on the likes of Gareth Barry, Carlos Tevez and Roque Santa Cruz and they are also on the verge of signing Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor and Chelsea captain John Terry. Latest reports also have them linked with Spurs' David Bentley. Cole's co-judge on X-Factor Danni Minogue said she wasn't surprised by the City approach: "She's had her head turned for sure, and let's face it, she'd be silly not to listen to what they had to say. Louis Walsh and I were only this week saying what a great set-up they've got there at Carrington."
