RULES

There are 10 questions, PM your answers for them to me by Monday 20th July at 7:30pm, each answer on a separate line please, in order of questions.

Your score for each question is number of people who give the same correct answer. So you want to go for answers that you think will be less commonly given. Levelling commonly happens. The answer most commonly given is called the sheep, with the corresponding sheep score.

You are not allowed to do ANY research to come up with answers. All answers must come from your own brain.

If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive the sheep score + one half the number of CORRECT answers given, rounded up.

You have ONE pass which may or may not be used and score a 0 for that question.

Any questions post in this thread (or PM), but don’t post your answers obv.

The reveal will be 8.30PM on Tuesday 21st July

Ok. Not gonna be here tonight, so if my answers get failed:

OBJECTION to question 4. The team I have chosen are not an amateur team, they're semi-professional. They play in a league people will have heard of. They recieved quite a bit of publicity a few years ago when they were formed, and I believe will have had their own news story on BBC news. Question did NOT specify Premiership/Football League team.

OBJECTION to question 10. Not sure why this would be failed but just in case: The character I have chosen appears in 2 episodes of Family Guy, and is central to the plot of each episode. If you google "family guy <character name>" then the first hit is a wiki page dedicated to this character. In short, the character is sufficiently major to pass this question.

I will be unimpressed if these answers are failed upon my return.

Oh, and one more thing.

Farce.

I will be arguing for fails for Cf for Q4 and Q10 now... ;)

I wrote the Question wrong.....what i meant was out of the 92 league teams in England.

I have failed Southampton and Everton as they dont have a last name. They cannot share a last name with anybody as they dont have one!

I have failed both Colne Dynamos and FC united of Manchester as they are not part of the 92 teams that i meant!

No, the use of last name means that the club can share another part of their name with another club, just not the last name.  Hence Sheffield Wednesday is allowed even though there is a Sheffield United.   DUCY?

Your mistake was asking an ambiguous question, and then hoping that everyone makes the same assumption as you hoped.

I didn't know what wikipedia said.  I've just checked it now and it doesn't mention him not being in England.  Google can be used to substantiate answers during the reveal.  The QM did specify that the answers are according to wikipedia - that's one thing he did actually specify.
