Title: New laptop needed Post by: mondatoo on July 17, 2009, 09:59:59 AM Still haven't got my laptop fixed guys taking ages to sort it so think i'm just guna get a new one
Just looking for bit of advice,I was going to get a dongle for internet as having to have a phone line is pointless and just wondered is it worth me taking up the option of paying a bit extra and getting a free laptop. All i want it for is playing poker with HEM and going online.I seem to remember people saying vodafone are the best to go with is this still the case Thanks Title: Re: New laptop needed Post by: StuartHopkin on July 17, 2009, 10:15:39 AM Those free laptops are a complete rip bud
Normally works out something like an extra £20 a month on your line rental for a minimum of 36 months and then they give you a £400 laptop. Title: Re: New laptop needed Post by: Sack it off on July 17, 2009, 01:36:00 PM Get one of them laptops with fold out multi screens

Vodafone only seem to add on £5 on top of the normal price for the dongle on 18 month contract Title: Re: New laptop needed Post by: StuartHopkin on July 17, 2009, 03:57:55 PM Those free laptops are a complete rip bud Normally works out something like an extra £20 a month on your line rental for a minimum of 36 months and then they give you a £400 laptop. One of the girls at work wanted one and I went through all the offers she had and they all worked out that you could get a better deal if you bought the laptop seperately. I might be wrong though. Its happened once before. But I was arguing with myself. Title: Re: New laptop needed Post by: mondatoo on July 17, 2009, 04:28:05 PM This was were i looked

The upside is you can access your data twice as fast. The downside is you will lose data due to a failed disk twice as quickly too.
