The problem with the PL one is that you can change the team too much and too often. It means that if you miss a week or two you end up so far behind that you give up. But then again, it's $10. So it's a round of beers. Certainly wouldn't even look at the one in the s*n. Title: Re: Fantasy Football League Post by: kinboshi on August 13, 2009, 09:09:58 AM Was thinking about this earlier. As we now have 21 runners, and hopefully a few more before it kicks-off - we now have enough for a few prizes imo. That'll give more people something to play for as well towards the end of the season, even if someone is the runaway leader.
So how about (as it stands with 21 runners): 1st = $110 2nd = $50 3rd = $30 4th = $20 ...or should we sod that and have winner takes all, or just top two getting a return? :dontask: Title: Re: Fantasy Football League Post by: TheChipPrince on August 13, 2009, 10:04:29 AM 1st is fine with me, but I think top 3 would be fairer for everyone.

But having watched Milner closely there was never anyone getting MOTM other than him he was class up and down the pitch all game.As for Collins getting no points pfffffffft, the defending was pretty shambolic from both sides imo so no defenders should have got near bonus points. Will check exactly how much is in the prize pool and send it over to the top 4 finishers according to the breakdown 50/25/15/10. Once I've gone through it, I'll post the breakdown on here. I'll ship the winners the money back to the stars accounts that they used to send the entry money so as to make sure the right people get it, and there's no grimming or mistakes (plus I don't have a Tilt account). WP Teacake :)up Title: Re: Fantasy Football League Post by: kinboshi on May 17, 2010, 05:36:25 PM OK, just checked through and there were 34 paid entries.
So that's a prize pool of $340. 1 = $170 (50%) 2 = $85 (25%) 3 = $51 (15%) 4 = $34 (10%) Now the fun bit. Need to sort out who the hell the top four finishers are on here, and what their aliases on Stars are (or if someone else paid the $10 for them and then we'll have to sort something out, which ideally will be the money being shipped to the one who paid on their behalf and they can deal with the transfer). So - if you're a top four finisher, can you PM me with your name in the league, your Stars alias, or the name on here of the person who shipped your entry fee to me and their alias on Stars. :)up Title: Re: Fantasy Football League Post by: kinboshi on May 17, 2010, 05:48:12 PM 1 Higgys Heroes Stephen Donnelly - TEACAKE
