Did anyone see the Wigan v Leeds match last weekend. What a fantastic match and a great performance by Wigan. We've gone from utter crap to a team that will be challenging for a grand final place. Title: Re: Rugby World Cup 2015 Post by: Graham C on July 29, 2009, 10:16:16 AM Heard about it. My Dad's not happy!

But I was :D Title: Re: Rugby World Cup 2015 Post by: Acidmouse on July 29, 2009, 12:00:02 PM Leeds shoulda had 3 tries in the opening 20mins when we completly dominated the game. Alas from then onwards Wigan were the best team. Leeds really need to sort out the penaltys they are giving away every match, again this cost us dearly in the game.
Leeds aint anything special too many games they have won by the odd try or kick, unlike the last couple of years where we looked alot better. Salary cap sure is making alot of the games closer, but I would not look outside Saints or Rhino's for grand final. No team is looking head and shoulders above the rest, and on their night Wigan, Hull KR and Huddersfield can all upset Leeds and stains. Stains need to sort out their kicking, otherwise it will prove to be very costly for them. Leeds need to sort their discipline out, but on their day they are still the side to beat. then there's all the countries who are into sevens. even germany and dutchland play that Title: Re: Rugby World Cup 2015 Post by: boldie on July 29, 2009, 05:38:36 PM italy, japan, fiji, samoa, argentina, canada, tonga then there's all the countries who are into sevens. even germany and dutchland play that just because they play rugby in Germany, Holland, Japan, Italy, Canada etc doesn't mean they give a crap about it..it just means they found a few guys willing to play the game. Holland has a cricket team FFS..nobody gives a shit about cricket in Holland (or in any other developed country for that matter)...it's WAY behind other sports in most countries and the rugby wouldn't get any coverage in most countries that do play it until they got to the final stages of the world cup. It's a non-sport in any country other than Wales and A; That's not a proper country but a principality and B; they only care because they're shit at football. FYP 2nd best?..didn't he win the thing a few times in a row? Taylor didn't play in the same competition so I thought Barnie was best in his shitty side of league for the non-sport that is darts.
