Title: Paypal - a cautionary tale

I wasn't aware that the credit card protection you get on purchases was 'lost' if you pay via PayPal (using your credit card).  Worth knowing...

Yes, but I do like the security paypal offers. I got ripped off once and paypal sorted it out very efficiently. After doing the formal dispute thingy Paypal paid me the amount that the other party owed me.

be careful how you list anything you sell on ebay as well, first time and only time i sold 4 tickets to Lee Evans show i couldnt make, i put 4 instead of 1 in a box, and they charged me 4 times the commision,i only had 4 tickets and they charged commision on 16 tickets, they knew i had made a honest mistake but wernt interested, it seeems they are entitled to do this and a lot of people have been stung, never sell on ebay again after that.

Lol

Paypal is the most evil site in the world

All good if your buying but fuckin love to stick it in your eye if your selling.

I completely refuse to use them, they suck.

The whole ebay tie in sucks aswell, yeah we know you own it but dont try and make me use it.
