Title: Cashing out
Post by: smithy69 on December 05, 2005, 09:19:57 AM
hi guys.

Need some advice.

My missus has just started playing, and we have managed to get her from £50 to 650 in a week.

My question is she wants to cash some out for shopping at the weekend, but has a huge overdraft and it will get swallowed. I have asked customer service but they obviously cannot cash out to say my account.

Any ideas for how to get this into my bank, or to avoid getting it swallowed up.

use neteller but might take more than a week

Depends which site its on - if it is pokerstars you can just transfer the money from her account to yours then withdraw it. Not too sure whether you can do that on other sites as i dont play anywhere else. If they dont then if you both open neteller accounts she can withdraw the money from the site to her neteller account. When it clears in her account transfer it into your neteller account then when it clears your account just withdraw it either directly into your bank account (which you would have to register with them) or request a cheque.

is there any way of doing it before saturday ideally. if she has to do it to hers then she will have to do that and it will get swallowed up - thats life

but then at least the overdraft is taken care of so when she wins another £650 this week you're sorted!!

i like the way in your first post you say "WE managed to get her......"  :D

lol, i know she's only been playing a short peroid of time but surely she knows not to trust the "promise" of a poker player? ;) look into neteller and if that doesnt work you'd better start hitting the tables today to win £650 yourself so you can withdraw it into your bank account to give her!!

Neteller, withdraw to that and then transfer to your bank account

Before Saturday though? unlikely, but sub her the £650 for a few days until the neteller money reaches you. All in the name of love mate!

Is it Crypto?

If so, open up a william Hill account and deposit via quick cash in one of the shops. Then lose all the money to yourself (from a different isp of course) and then cash out your winnings - can all be done in the same day.

However, more to the point, if she has a big overdraft, then wtf is she going shopping? Do you not think that paying off the overdraft is a better idea? Just tell her it can't be done!

(Does anyone think this isn't really a 'My wife' story? Otherwise withdraw part and try to win the balance that she needs, or lend her the money for the shopping you tight wad!)

This is what I was thinking. Tell her she can't go shopping until the overdraft is paid off. Problem solved.

i would suggest that she uses the £650 pay off the debt then play and earn another £650 this week and use that for shopping

but then again i have never had a credit card and never taken a loan as i dont believe in debt
if i cant afford it i just dont buy it
