Title: Swimming Against The Tide II
Post by: The Camel on August 15, 2009, 11:59:02 AM
I envisage less bets this season and so Kiv doesn't get all pissy I will return to the 1,2,3.. points system.

I'll start with a bank of 100 points and see how we get on..

4pts BACK Portsmouth @ 3
2pts LAY Peterbrough @ 2.24

I might as well add the best ante post bet here too:

10pts BACK Manchester Utd @ 3.55 to win the Premiership.

with your love of backing newcastle how did u miss them on this thread, whole point is the price taking too much notice of off the field activity, turmoil etc, evens at home to a poor reading team. newcastle's side is ok at this level, midfield should be too good for many

Well he has a £23 bet on Michael Owen to score less than 11 goals this season, so whatever he starting roll was minus £23

Will you be putting even more on now Camel that they've drifted to 3.65 despite winning?

Any fancy for Portsmouth tonight at 4.2?

Don't have a strong fancy for them but just wondering about value.

I'd be surprised if Camel wasn't on Burnley tonight.

I really, really like Everton today at Burnley, but I was hoping they would reach 2.3. It's not looking likely now, but I've put an order in, just in case..

Should any team be as long as 7.4 this season?

Not at home to Man City or Tottenham they shouldn't.

Pompey are pretty dreadful and the players they have lined up before the window closes aren't good enough to change much.

I can't see how they are going to avoid relegation on this display.
