Title: threats in poker
Post by: vinni on August 22, 2009, 11:51:53 AM
on a Wednesday night i went to play the tenner sat for the 300 ,forgeting it started at 9 .0 ,i decided to have a mess about and play the 25 game ,i was sat in seat 8 ,the bloke next to me made me look anorexic ,his chest had dropped big style .
his attitude was to let the table know he was there ,and how would bluff every one with 2 6 off ,which was laughable really ,he was very boisterous and let the whole card room know about this ,any way i`m in a hand with him (seat 9 ) and the player in seat 1 ,when i bet the river he decides to show the dealer his cards ,when i touch his arm and tell him seat 1 can see his cards ,to this point he starts getting aggressive towards me ,telling me not to touch him as i dont know what I'm messing with ,he then starts telling me he has worked all the doors in notts and he is a hard man (as such )to this point i had`nt said a word just sat laughing at him ,then he starts shouting Danny over to get him moved ,as he wasn't having all this trouble over a hand which he had decided to fold (wtf was this man on ) after telling him i had had 3 weaterbix that morning he decided to tell me who he knew in the door business ,he didn't take lightly to me sitting there laughing at him .
the rest of the table was intimidated by his presence ,why oh why do people have to use threats when they play poker i dint know .
apparently he has done this to loads of people ,even Jeff (juniors father )  and a few others in the gala and alea .
after telling him i was a black belt in biting he went quit .what an idiot ,Danny and James (Clair's bloke )thought it was hilarious .

whilst running a event in Ireland for Ladbrokes i split up a fight that was starting between a drunk brit and a Irish bloke that had been out with padraig all night, he was a big fella and the kind of bloke who looked like a biter. After moving him away he started mouthing off about how he and his family before him were IRA and his dad had been killed by the Brit army and that was what he was coming back to do to same me, in the end we got him out betwwen a few of us and he came back armed with a lump of wood and hotel security called the old bill who turned up and carted him away.

only later did i find out that he had been a cock on the tables all night in the side event i wasnt running, swearing at staff and players alike and challanging anyone who askedd him to calm down. these players need to be thrown out as soon as they even start doing things like this. If i had known about this bloke or yours Barry as td i would remove from the comp straight away.

He might not be a threat to you Baz but to others I'm sure he would he would be and could easily ruin their night.

I can't understand why these idiots don't get barred.

There really is no place for them in poker.

At the next DTD £300 I'll ask the Trumpers to put me on his table.

It'll be an experience he'll never forget and I'm sure he'll never behave the same way again.

When I was at school, after double latin I would go to the gym and was chest pressing using 15kg dumbbells. Now, some years on and I'm even stronger!

What about me? I say I'm hard and it's true.

I had a reputation in the Modern Languages Society at school for being sheer brute.
