Title: Another new phone thread Post by: Josedinho on August 26, 2009, 07:59:40 AM Any idea what i should get?
I haven't got an ipod so tempted with the iphone but i've never "paid" for a phone before, usually free with cash or ps3 etc lobbed in so £80 for the new one is a bit of a put off. Blackberry's are they as easy to get apps for and are they any good. Also which is the best? I could probably get one of these through my orange upgrade so pricewise i'd be better of as i'd be hoping for my contract to be reduced too. I liked the look of the google g1 but it's a bit old now and i'm not sure if i'm as keen on the new HTC Hero. Any advice would be great Title: Re: Another new phone thread Post by: scotty2hatty on August 26, 2009, 09:52:58 AM iphone for free

Also doesn't owning an iphone turn people into prats? Get the iPhone 3GS 16GB! ( i have the 32GB model) Im on the £45 tarrif where you get 1200 minutes, 500 txts and unlimited internet access! The phone is free on a 24 month contract or you pay £87.11 to get it over 18 months! I also pay £10 a month for insurance! I love the iphone, you get internet, ipod and a phone all in one device! People with iPhones are not prats! Title: Re: Another new phone thread Post by: Royal Flush on August 30, 2009, 12:41:57 AM Cant live without iPhone, simple as that.

Title: Re: Another new phone thread Post by: relaedgc on August 30, 2009, 12:47:45 PM I have a google phone, which is pretty decent all things considered, but to be fair, iPhone is the best of the bunch. Not really a contest if you're free to choose any network.

Title: Re: Another new phone thread Post by: Rooky9 on August 31, 2009, 04:53:34 PM My iphone is 13 months old. It keeps randomly turning itself off. Restoring to factory settings doesnt help. It works if you dont lock it or you keep it attached to the wall or a computer. the apple genius can't help as its past its 12 month warrenty period.
Take out the extended warrenty or extra cover if you get one (though 10 quid a month seems a bit much) - your life changes so much for the worse it it breaks on you. |
